Usually in a Can’t Wait Wednesday (hosted by Tressa), you choose ONE book you’re excited for. But I can’t choose! So enjoy my list of May releases that are on my TBR…
Young Adult Releases:
Aurora Burning – 5th of May (today!)
Read my review for Book One here!
The Betrothed – 5th of May (today!)
Read my review of the Siren here.
The Summer of Impossibilities – 12th of May
The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes – 19th of May
Of Silver and Shadow – 26th of May
Non-YA Releases:
A Good Marriage – 5th of May (today!)
The Kingdom of Liars – 5th of May (today!)
The Trouble With Hating You – 12th of May
Sand Talk: How Indigenous Thinking Can Save the World – 12th of May
Happy & You Know It – 19th of May

I can’t make up my mind whether I want to read Betrothed yet. I’ve liked her books in the past but I’ve also had a lot of problems with them. So not too sure yet. Thanks for the post!

Oh I don’t think I like the sound of it at ALL — but I owe it to the cover designer + all YA fans to at least try to review it.

On the one hand I want to read The Bethrothed but on the other I’m not sure because The Selection drove me NUTS.

I have a feeling it’ll be like The Thousandth Floor– creepily incest-y and a poorly constructed world (but having so much potential!!!).

I am hoping my local Wal-mart has Aurora Burning when I next go there because if so, it’s coming home with me. If not, I’ll have to break down and order it. Thanks for sharing all of these.

I am keen but not to the point of pre-ordering– I don’t own Book One lol! I will wait for my library to re-open…… but if it doesn’t by July, I’ll most likely purchase the series. I much prefer Lifelike > Illuminae > THEN Aurora

So many great sounding releases coming! We may not get to them all, but we’ll have fun trying, won’t we? One of these days I’ll give the Aurora Cycle books a try. I love the cover of Of Silver and Shadow. The Trouble With Hating You is one I am looking forward to as well. I hope you enjoy your week. Stay safe and well.

Thanks so much, Andie– that is really kind of you to comment! I hope your week is safe and enjoyable, with a 5 star read coming your way! 😀
I’ve honestly forgotten the blurbs for most of these books, as I make my lists in January. I bold the ones that I think will be buy-worthy (instead of library loans), and the Trouble with Hating You is #1 for a cute romance I MUST devour ❤ ❤ ❤
