Next week is the annual Reading Rush. This year, I’ve been motivated enough to actually log my progress via YouTube and ofc this blog.
I tried BookTubing 3-ish years ago. It takes a lot of effort for me to get dressed, film (!! THAT’S SCARY, YO), edit, then upload the video. Book blogging is soooo much easier to do. I’m in my pjs and I don’t have to try and make eye contact with a camera.
Anyways– I’m re-attempting my BookTubing, through the trials of the Reading Rush. PLEASE LINK UP YOUR ENTRY / TBR POST in the comments below, I wanna check out what else people are reading!
I’m curious: do you guys prefer to interact with book reviews etc via BookTube or book blogging?
I actually find watching 20 min + BookTube videos soooo dull. They take forever to watch (even on 2x speed) and I’m left with the same feeling I have after I leave a meeting: this could have been said over an email. Except in the book reviewing realm, it’s a book blog post (not an email).

Cool choices! Yea I usually forward thru 20 min + videos but I do find the shorter ones entertaining!
