Good afternoon, readers!
Next week is the annual Reading Rush. This year, I’ve been motivated enough to actually log my progress via YouTube and ofc this blog.
Good afternoon, readers!
Next week is the annual Reading Rush. This year, I’ve been motivated enough to actually log my progress via YouTube and ofc this blog.
Welcome to a fun and festive reading game, hosted by Cal (@ Constant Raving Reviews). The aim of this game is to indulge in one of the most celebrated holidays around the world, while also delving into one of our shared hobbies.
Since I did every book challenge, I’m sure you don’t want to hear about every book.
Here’s a list of the top rated books I read!
You, probably: “not another #theReadingQuest update!!! >:(”
Today’s the final day of #theReadingQuest !
Today’s the final day of #theReadingQuest ! I don’t know if any of today’s reading counts, so if not, here’s a mini wrap up of what I did since the last update. Continue reading “#TheReadingQuest Update 6”
Finished my first book, some older woman is bullying some of the participants, and I’m having fun reading…
View my Goodreads review here (it has also been added to this blog’s queue). I read The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh. I enjoyed the story, and it received 3/5 stars.
Next I will read Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard. I have read this before and did not like it. Finger’s crossed I do this time!
This week is flooded with uni assessments and exams, so bear with me.

I’ve had beef with somebody who’s being a shark on the book blogs and forums participating. This woman is going around on teenager’s accounts and discounting their reading; taking this reading challenge way too far. I scavenged the web to see if other #TheReadingQuest participants were being attacked, and indeed there were. In particular: teen girls. Not cool, Miss ‘I like to spend my time trying to argue with minors who are just trying to have some fun while reading’.
I’ve been obsessed with The Office (U.S.) lately. Half way through season 3, it just clicked. I suddenly understood the humour.
Okay back to assignments and study…
From today until the 10th of September, I will be participating in a book challenge hosted by Read at Midnight. You can find my sign up/entry post here. I love that this is an Australian-hosted challenge!
I’ve made a couple cute images for the quest!
And I finally made a character profile:
Are you participating in #TheReadingQuest? If so, which character are you playing as?
Don’t know what I’m talking about? Check out my blog post explaining it/entering here or check out the original post explaining it here.
I will also try to read as many recommended books that I found on the Reading Quest’s Goodreads Discussion group:
I know it’s just reading, but this whole set up will be cool to interact with fellow readers and have friendly competition going on.
oops I may have forgotten
What a failure.
Okay, not a failure. I was busy doing uni work and cleaning my bedroom– so I’m not too sorry.
I got 90 votes????? That’s great feedback from the book community– success!
I think I’m most excited to read Geekerella, which is ironically one of the least popular voted.
My current goal is to read the end of my CR (Beautiful Disaster) so I can get started!
Optimistically, I’d like to say that I will have read all of these books by the end of the week. But with upcoming uni assessments, I doubt it.
Oh well. Happy reading, bookworms!
